Pianist Andrew von Oeyen makes his VSO debut performing Mozart’s decadent and poignant Piano Concerto No. 22. After the overture to the story of the damned lover Don Giovanni, Tchaikovsky’s symphonic fantasy tells the story of another famous damned lover, Francesca da Rimini from Dante’s Inferno, in haunting, rapturous music.
