Rushes Ensemble perform Michael Gordon's "Rushes"

Rushes is a brilliant and hypnotic new work by American composer, and Bang on a Can co-founder Michael Gordon. Timber, Gordon's percussion work for six amplified 2-by-4 boards written for Mantra Percussion, stunned listeners when it was performed in Vancouver in 2013. Rushes, new work for seven bassoons promises to deliver another unforgettable sonic experience.
