"Poised to become one of the top piano trios in the world" (Washington Post), the newly formedMontrose Trio will make their Vancouver debut on the Music in the Morning stage.

Anchored by none other than Vancouver favourite Jon Kimura Parker, and former Tokyo String Quartet members Martin Beaver and Clive Greensmith, this exciting new piano trio showcases the impeccable playing and captivating performance style of these accomplished soloists and chamber musicians. Together as an ensemble they offer the music world a new experience.

An officer of the Order of Canada, Jon Kimura Parker is one of Canada’s leading ambassadors of music and one of the most high profile artists on the international scene. As a soloist, Martin Beaver has appeared with dozens of orchestras worldwide, including the Montreal Symphony. Clive Greensmith was principal cellist of London’s Royal Philharmonic Orchestra before setting out on a career as a soloist and chamber musician.
