The VSO’s 97th Season opens with one of the world’s preeminent violinists,Miriam Fried, performing perhaps the greatest of works for violin, Beethoven’sextraordinary Violin Concerto. And in a special collaboration with the Vancouver Biennale, the VSO performs the world premiere of a new work by JUNO® Award-winning Canadian composer Vivian Fung.
