Turning Point Ensemble and Nu:BC Collective share the stage for an inventive evening featuring a new premiere by the eclectic and playful San Francisco-based composer Aaron Gervais.

Other highlights include the premiere of a new saxophone concerto Cool Cut written for alto saxophonist Julia Nolan and the Ensemble by BC composer John Oliver, and the jazzy and spirited 1924 classic Choros No. 7 by Brazilian composer Heitor Villa-Lobos.
