Great music deserves to be heard in great places. Join us as Pyatt Hall, one of the city's finest rooms in which to listen to music, is filled with the sounds of Brahms in a program that includes the Brahms String Sextet no. 2 in G major with the Attacca Quartet, festival director, Barry Shiffman on viola, and cellist Adrian Fung. Contrasting the size and scale of the mammoth sextet will be selections from Brahms solo piano music performed by Jamie Parker. Rounding out the program will be Brahms’ Scherzo in C minor from the F-A-E Sonata.
