MOZART’S DON GIOVANNI

Of Mozart’s most famous four operas, there will always be debate about which is the greatest.  For some, Don Giovanni is the ultimate opera, not only for the deep and dramatic message of its story line but also because its final act contains some of the most innovative and terrifying music that the composer ever wrote.  This new, state of the art, production is conducted by distinguished Englishman, Steuart Bedford, whose name is inextricably linked to the operas of Benjamin Britten, and who returns after a decade to conduct this same opera for us.
