ESCHER QUARTET 

Formed in 2005, the Escher Quartet was chosen as a 2010-2012 BBC New Generation Artist and has recently completed a three year residency with the Chamber Music Society of Lincoln Center.  This is an ensemble with a beautiful, elegant sound, immediately appealing. They play with genuine feeling and can often achieve considerable intensity. It will be interesting to see how they approach two of the most lyrical works in the repertoire: Dvorak, Op. 51 and Schubert’s famous ‘Rosamunde’ quartet.
