GRYPHON TRIO

The Gryphon Trio is almost a Canadian institution, and especially those who have attended concerts in the Toronto area will know the range and stature of their contribution.  A good summary of this is currently in their 9cd boxed set entitled “Great Piano Trios”, issued by Analekta.   The trio returns to Music in the Morning to perform the Vancouver premiere of a new piano trio by Canada's R. Murray Shafer, alongside Schubert’s engaging Trio in B Flat Major.
