LONDON HAYDN QUARTET; ERIC HOEPRICH, CLARINET

Formed in 2000, this ‘authentic instrument’ quartet has gained international acclaim very quickly for their scholarly and thoughtful performances, already recording three CD’s of Haydn for the distinguished Hyperion label.  The Gramophone has given these strong praise, regarding a number of interpretations as both ‘striking’ and ‘provocative’.  They are joined by their frequent collaborator, Eric Hoeprich, for a concert of Haydn, Beethoven and Weber’s Clarinet Quintet.
